Washington Football Team draft picks 2021: Round-by-round selections
Here is a 2021 NFL draft pick-by-pick breakdown for the Washington Football Team:
Round 1 (No. 19 overall) - Jamin Davis, LB, Kentucky: The NFC East champs continue to build out last year's second-ranked defense with a needed playmaker at the second level. Davis' 4.37 speed and 42-inch vertical illustrate his athleticism, which should be nicely leveraged playing behind the WFT's vaunted defensive line. Draft tracker
Round 2 (51) - Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas: The all-Big-12 performer stands 6-6 and 314 pounds and should plug in immediately at left tackle for the WFT. Cosmi may not have elite physical skills, but he is durable and can also play right tackle. The Football Team continues to build a nice roster even if a quarterback of the future will have to come later. Draft tracker
Round 3 (74, from 49ers) - Benjamin St-Juste, CB, Minnesota: A big corner at 6-3, 202 pounds, he might get some run outside in nickel packages. Draft tracker
Round 3 (82) - Dyami Brown, WR, North Carolina: A blazer who comes off consecutive 1,000-yard seasons for the Heels, he'll stretch the field for Washington, allowing WRs Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel and TE Logan Thomas to work underneath. Draft tracker
