Warren Washington to miss Texas Tech basketball's game at No. 10 Iowa State

Texas Tech basketball's starting center Warren Washington will miss today's game at No. 10 Iowa State, Tech confirmed in a press release Saturday morning.

Washington sustained a foot injury in Monday's win over Kansas. Coach Grant McCasland said Thursday Washington was trending in the right direction since Monday and considered him a game-time decision for the game against the Cyclones.

McCasland also said the team would be taking a cautious approach with Washington due to his importance to the team down the stretch of the season.
