Roar Before the Rolex 24 schedule: VP Racing SportsCar races, WeatherTech qualifying

The first cars will officially hit the track for the Roar Before the Rolex 24 at 8:45 a.m. on Friday morning, signaling the beginning of a weekend full of test sessions, qualifying runs and even a couple of races at Daytona International Speedway. It will all lead into next week's 62nd running of the Rolex 24.

Friday's opening session is a half-hour practice slot for the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, which will also run a pair of 45-minute races this weekend, one scheduled for 2:05 p.m. on Saturday and the other slated for a 12:20 p.m. green flag on Sunday. The weekend culminates with qualifying for the Rolex 24 beginning at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday. Both races and Rolex 24 qualifying will stream on Peacock.

Tickets are still available for each day of the Roar Before the 24 and are priced at $15 for Friday and Sunday and $20 for Saturday. To purchase tickets, visit daytonainternationalspeedway.com.
