Vote for The Oklahoman's Landmark Fine Homes HS girls athlete of the week for Dec. 11-17

The Oklahoman's girls athlete of the week poll for Dec. 11-17 presented by Landmark Fine Homes is now live at oklahoman.com. Fans can vote before it closes at noon Sunday.

The winter sports poll includes basketball, swimming and wrestling.

Here are the nominees.

Basketball

Preslee Hartsock, Jr., Community Christian: Hartsock totaled 16 points, nine steals and nine assists as sixth-ranked Community Christian routed Casady, 72-18.

Breanna Lindert, Jr., Washington: Lindert was a key leader in undefeated Washington’s wins over two top-10 teams: Jones and Cashion. She tallied 21 points and went 3 for 3 at the free-throw line against Cashion.

Ausha Moore, Sr., Carl Albert: Moore led Carl Albert with 15 points in a 42-29 victory over Guthrie, adding 10 of those points during a second-half rally.

Allie Rehl, Sr., Tuttle: Rehl contributed 16 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 40-37 win over Kingfisher. Then she added 21 points, five rebounds, five assists and a block as Tuttle defeated Elk City, 64-39.

Swimming

Rachel Compton, Fr., Edmond Memorial: She had victories in the 100-yard breaststroke (1 minute, 14.75 seconds), 200 medley relay (1:58.92) and 400 freestyle relay (4:04.23) at the Edmond meet Thursday. The Edmond Memorial girls placed first in the team standings, finishing ahead of Deer Creek, Shawnee, Edmond North, Edmond Santa Fe, Putnam North and Harding Charter Prep.

Laney Jones, Jr., Edmond North: She had a strong performance in the 200 individual medley at the Edmond meet Thursday, winning in 2:19.03.

Kinley Manuel, Sr., Deer Creek: She won the 50 freestyle (25.62) and 100 freestyle (56.67) at the Edmond meet Thursday. Manuel also helped Deer Creek win the 200 freestyle relay (1:49.30).

Gracyn Simpson, Jr., Shawnee: She won the 100 butterfly (1:04.04) at the Edmond meet Thursday.

Wrestling

Eliana Banks, Jr., Shawnee: She pinned four of her five opponents at the Norman High Invitational and won the 125-pound crown last week.

Ava Granados, So., Norman North: Granados pinned all five opponents she faced as she won the 110-pound championship at the Norman High Invitational.

Kurstin Howell, Sr., Noble: She pinned the three opponents she wrestled at the Norman High Invitational, winning the title at 120 pounds.

Mylene Jones, Jr., Kingfisher: She won the 110-pound crown at the Kingfisher Invitational last week.
