Vote for the Oklahoma City-area girls high school athletes, team of the week
The Oklahoman's winter sport girls athletes of the week poll for Feb. 12-19 presented by Landmark Fine Homes is now live at oklahoman.com.
The Oklahoman is also conducting a poll for a girls team of the week.
Voting is open until noon Sunday. You don't have to be a subscriber to vote, and you can cast one vote every hour, per device.
Pauline Black-Harmon of El Reno won the Feb. 6-12 girls basketball poll, while the team winner was Edmond Memorial girls basketball.

Girls team of the week nominees
Choctaw basketball: The Yellowjackets finished the regular season as the sole undefeated girls basketball team in Class 6A. Choctaw capped the unblemished campaign with a 53-35 win against Jenks.
El Reno basketball: El Reno ended the regular season as the lone undefeated Class 5A squad. A 43-28 victory against Shawnee secured El Reno’s perfect status.
Kingfisher basketball: Class 4A Kingfisher closed the regular season on a 13-game win streak. The 10th-ranked Yellowjackets then defeated Blanchard, 47-26, to win their district tournament.
Little Axe wrestling: The Indians won the Class 5A East Regional last week as they finished with 186 points, beating runner-up Jay by 48.
Shawnee swimming: The Wolves claimed their third straight Class 5A state title last week. Shawnee had 248 points, finishing 22 ahead of runner-up Altus.

Girls basketball
Jayla Constant, So., Putnam West: Constant provided 11 points, two assists and two steals as Putnam West closed the regular season with a 74-29 rout of Westmoore. She is averaging 12.4 points per game for the district-champion Patriots.
Kate Davis, Sr., Choctaw: Davis led the Yellowjackets with 16 points as they flew past Jenks, 53-35, to finish the regular season undefeated. The Oklahoma Baptist signee is averaging 17 points per game.
Addison Harris, Sr., Luther: Harris recorded a team-high 21 points as Luther stormed past Beggs, 71-36, for a win at a district tournament. She went 5 for 5 from 3-point range.
Jayla Lawson, Sr., John Marshall: Lawson had 32 points to account for more than half of John Marshall’s scoring in a 58-48 victory at Southeast. She also tallied 11 rebounds and two steals.
Josie Megehee, Jr., Bethel: Megehee stockpiled 42 points in Bethel’s 67-41 victory against Christian Heritage. She followed with 36 points against Little Axe to win a district tournament title.

Swimming
Kelsey Healy, Jr., Edmond North: Her individual events at the Class 6A meet were the 200-yard individual medley and 100 backstroke. She had strong performances in both as she placed second in the 200 IM (2 minutes, 7.73 seconds) and third in the other with a time of 56.08.
Macy Lewis, Sr., Bishop McGuinness: The Texas A&M signee finished as the Class 6A state runner-up in both the 100 butterfly (56.24) and 100 backstroke (55.53).
Avery Littlefield, Sr., Stillwater: The LSU signee claimed two championships at the Class 6A state meet, winning the 50 freestyle (23.14) and 100 freestyle (50.46).
Maddy Lu, Sr., Casady: Lu, who will continue her career at Emory University, won the Class 5A state title in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.02).

Wrestling
Alexus Jones, Fr., Little Axe: She won the 130-pound championship at the Class 5A East Regional while also helping Little Axe claim the team crown.
Addie Morse, So., Harrah: She was Harrah’s lone wrestler who won a title at the Class 5A West Regional, although the Panther claimed the team crown. Morse was the champion at 105 pounds.
Brooklyn Noel, Sr., Moore: She was one of two Moore girls who won a title at the Class 6A West Regional. Noel was the champion at 105 pounds.
Tessalynn Goodner, Fr., Putnam City: She competed in her first high school regional tournament and thrived, winning the Class 6A West crown at 190 pounds.
