Late into the fall prep season, we've had a wide selection of Athlete of the Week winners.
There's been a volleyball setter and outside hitter in Niceville's Carnley Summerlin and Ana Colon, a quarterback in Baker's Kase Armstrong, a cross country runner in Fort Walton Beach's Belicia O'Grady, an offensive lineman in Niceville's Donovan Dark, Choctaw quarterback Carter Marracco, former Niceville running back Eddie Love Jr., Choctaw wide receiver/defensive back Dante Core, South Walton setter Evelyn Brandman, the long-distance phenom Izzy Harter from Choctaw and now playmaker Dylan Louthain from Walton.
Louthain delivered a team-best 102 rushing yards and a touchdown in Friday's 28-24 upset of top-ranked Pensacola Catholic to help advance the eighth-seeded Braves to the Region 1-2A Sweet 16 and a road trip to third-seeded Bolles.

Tamen Zabetakis, Choctaw: The junior completed 9-of-16 passes for 241 yards and found Keeson Hines-Wheeler, Aaron Rowell and J'drian Edwards for touchdowns in Choctaw's 49-0 win over Arnold in the Region 1-4A quarterfinals.
Kane Lafortune, Niceville: The senior completed 10-of-11 passes for 271 yards and found Landon Isbell, Max Roche and Tim Smith for touchdowns in Niceville's 49-13 win over Middleburg in the Region 1-5A quarterfinals.
Neely Kight, South Walton: The freshman led the South Walton girls golf team to a 2A state championship with rounds of 78-72 to finish tied for seventh individually.
Cameron Blackburn, Walton: The senior rushed 10 times for 58 yards and two touchdowns in the Braves' 28-24 road upset of Pensacola Catholic in the Region 1-2A quarterfinals.
