Soto's heroics would never have happened without another Yankees hero Giancarlo Stanton, whose two-run blast in the sixth erased a 2-0 deficit and set the stage for Soto's dramatic at-bat. Stanton will be taking home the ALCS trophy but plans to zero in on his World Series preparation once the Met-Dodgers NLCS has been decided.
