Jordan Schusterman.

The derby is tonight, it is my favorite night of the year.

You know, Pete, fifth straight derby only guy ever to do five straight derbies, we know he will take it very seriously.

Um Who else are you most intrigued about?

And then, and obviously we can do specs and by the way, we should also mention there are a few different things about the homer derby this year.

They did change the format a little bit to, uh, limit the number of pitches that you get in each round.

It's not just squeeze in as many as you can into that, that time frame and then the first round will not be seated.

Um And so that means that it doesn't matter if you hit more home runs than the guy you were facing off against, you just have to hit at least the top four, which I, I love that change that, that I do like, and then it becomes a bracket.

So whoever hits the first most homers in the first round will face the guy who hit the fourth most and so on.

But as for the players involved, of course, we have uh six right handed hitters.

We have Te Oscar Hernandez, we have Marcel Ozuna.

We have a, we have Alec Boone, we have Pete Alonso.

We have a Doli Garcia who is not an all star, but he is a Ranger.

And then we have Jose Ramirez competing in his second derby.

He's gonna switch plates.

We will see if he bats lefty and righty.

We will see and then, and then Gunner Henderson who is, was the first one announced and will be trying to do his best to provide baseballs to those sitting in the right field seats.

Who will be feeling very left out for much of tonight, underrated thing about the derby.

The winner gets a million dollars.

I think that MLB should hype that up more.

Who do you got?

Uh, I'm gonna take Pete, I think Pete is, has been, I think he's like we ain't, we ain't losing again.

I think Pete's gonna find a way he brought back pitching machine, Dave J.

Yes and keep an eye on the Oscar.

I, I'm really, really excited to watch the Oscar.

I'm really excited and just happy for how his season has gone.

And I think that one is really, really cool.

So I'm taking Pete, give me Bob, give me Bob Witt Junior.
