The NWSL shield has been awarded to the Orlando pride.
Congratulations.
They might go fully undefeated.
They might go Invincible, Invincible, which has never been done.
The closest were the 2018 courage, the North Carolina courage who lost one match and Orlando has been through some brutal seasons last season.
They didn't even make the playoffs.
They finished last, I think a few times just again.
And you have these great players and it's like, why can't they, they figure this out and at the time when they came into the league, it was like the shiny new team that, you know, that the, the, the, everybody wanted to be there like that.
It was a big team and they, and they just couldn't figure anything out.
And Marta a credit to her, she's been there through all the terrible season she could have left.
She's the messi of Miami in Orlando.
Totally, totally.
Uh, so that's been uh uh an amazing story for them just again because the, you know, maybe this is, this is somewhat an argument for, you know, the, the that's like sort of against uh kind of promotion relegation because sometimes the, the, the the, the clubs that are, you know, just struggling for years and years and years never really get an opportunity to turn things around because they're just either getting relegated.
What?
Well, Wrexham, they turned it around.
I mean, it happens once in a while but it leads, leads, made their way back into the premier.
No, I don't, I don't agree with that.
I get your point.
I'm just saying it's just a for Orlando to have the, the, the essentially would have had to turn it around fast.
Then Martha wouldn't have lost.
The Martha would have, yeah, she wouldn't have stayed that long or whatever she would have been.
They would have been like, all right, next season we're gonna get back up to the top and, and then you fight your way back.
But, and then if they don't then probably.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's the only point I make.
