The final full day of these Olympics and it was a golden one led by track and field for team USA completing a Paris run that brought home the most medals in the sport for America since 1984 in L A.
Here's the biggest stories from Saturday in France.
The US men's basketball team earns its fifth consecutive gold medal.
Taking down Victor Wea and the host country 98 to 87 4, Americans scored double digit points led by Steph Curry with 24 all of which came from beyond the arc and in women's soccer yet another gold.
USA beats Brazil one to nothing on a goal by Mallorie Swanson and spectacular saves by Alyssa Nair to get to the top of the podium for the first time since 2012 on the track.
Messiah Russell took gold in one 10 hurdles grant.
Fisher rallied for bronze in 5000 m becoming the first American male to meddle in both the five and 10-K in the same games.
The women and men four by 400 relay teams took home gold and made Quincy Wilson the youngest us male track Olympian to medal at just 16 years old and Shelby mcewan became the first US male to medal in high jump in a dozen years grabbing silver a first for America as Brooke Raito became the first American woman to medal in climbing, capturing silver in the boulder and league final.
In breaking Canada's Phil Wizard won the first men's breaking gold medal while American Victor Montalvo grabbed bronze.
