Video Transcript
It's week five in Fantasy basketball.
Welcome back to the playlist to recap.
Week four.
There's a whole lot of buckets.
Giannis went for 59 to start the week.
Victor Webb Yama K notched a new career high with 50 points.
And then the end of the week over the weekend, Darn Fox just went crazy dropping 60 points.
Then following it up with 49.
I mean, the last time we saw 100 and nine points scored in a two game time span was Kobe Bryant and then before that, it was Wilt Chamberlain.
So anytime you're mentioned with Hall of Famers, it's definitely a good thing.
No surprise.
Darn Fox was the top player in points leagues in week four.
Victor.
We Yama was the top guy in nine cat leagues, but also got to give a shout out to James Harden who is now second all time in three pointers made.
Let's get to the pickups sticking with the Los Angeles Clippers pick up Chris Dunn.
The Clippers play four games in week five and Chris Dunn has been trending up.
He's averaging over 11 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists over his last four games.
He started the last three games for the Clippers, so he continues to gain more trust with Tyrann Liu.
You got to pick him up in fantasy.
Next player I'm picking up is Ayo Des Suu.
He's under 25% rostered.
And the Chicago Bulls have been going more towards ao desu late game than Josh Giddy because G's defense just isn't right where it needs to be and I would assume has been playing well.
He's been efficient shooting over 90% from the line averaging over 14 points.
He's actually been a top 80 player in nine cat leagues over the last two weeks.
So make sure you pick him up lastly pick up Musa Diabate of the Charlotte Hornets.
Mark Williams, Nick Richards.
Still no timetables for their returns.
Diabate has been really good off the bench.
He had two double doubles with four stocks last week.
He's gotten double digit rebounds in three of his last four games.
Guys.
A beast off the bench and I think he's gonna continue to get minutes.
The Charlotte Hornets have a really good schedule this week against Biggs that he's gonna keep them on the floor.
I think he's gonna be a good ad for fantasy managers in the short term.
Make sure you pick him up.
All right, let's get to the schedule things you need to know.
All right.
So if you're looking to stream this week, week five is where you want to do it because there's not one day that has more than eight games.
So you should be able to pick up one player and be able to start them in multiple spots throughout this week.
I would definitely be targeting certain teams though, there are only a handful of teams that play four games this week.
So you'll wanna target teams like the Sixers, the Bucks, the Bulls, the Clippers, the magic, the Pacers, the Rockets and the Warriors.
But teams that I would be avoiding, I would not be looking to roster the Thunder or the Suns players after Wednesday, mainly because they're done.
They don't have any other games.
They only played two games this week along with the Miami Heat who play on Monday and Sunday.
So the heat if you can run those players on Monday, but then after that, you can feel free to drop them because you're not going to be able to play them for, you know, a matter of games in between there.
So not really going to be much use for you in week five.
So those are the things you need to know at a high level.
Make sure you check out the playlist because I go into detail about which day to cover which players and which days you know, might be more beneficial to stream.
But let's talk about how Jalen Williams has four position eligibility.
So normally, you know, last year, I I remember seeing multiple players that had three position eligibility.
There's still a few that have it right now, but having four position eligibility is literally a cheat code that's like in fantasy football, having Marcus Colston play tight end or Tyson Hill still getting uh, quarterback or tight end eligibility.
Just these guys, you can just plug them into multiple spots where honestly their value is not really even appreciated because they can play so many different spots.
It just gives it a competitive advantage.
And you know, when you have those guys that are sitting on your bench, that you might need to fit into your lineup, you can move Jalen Williams now through four out of the five spots that's given under roster, like that's huge shooting guard, small forward, power forward and center.
But then also it's also interesting that, you know, his shooting guard and small forward eligibility carried over from last year because he really hasn't played much shooting guard or small forward this year.
He only has 176 possessions at shooting guard and small forward combined this year compared to a majority of those minutes going, coming from power forward and now center.
So you guys got one if you, if you, you got lucky if you got Jalen Williams, um, but just enjoy the ride and, uh, now you're looking at a new cheat code in fancy basketball that'll do it for week five playlist.
We'll see you in week six.
Peace.
