David Peterson and Carlos Mendoza break down Peterson's rough night in loss to Phillies

Mets Manager Carlos Mendoza was pleased with David Peterson the first time through the Phillies order but it was downhill from there as the visitors chased Peterson in the fourth inning in an eventual 12-2 Mets loss. Peterson: "My executing wasn't good and they were able to find holes when they hit it." It was his second start against Philadelphia in the last five days which may have been a detriment, but as Mendoza pointed out, "that's what being a big leaguer is all about."
