Here's what I care and don't care about coming out of Steelers 37 Jets 15 on Sunday night football, what I care about and I'm willing to admit I might have been, uh, my skepticism was a little undeserved on this one.

Russell Wilson upgraded the Steelers quarterback position and the biggest area of difference, I think between Justin Fields and Russell Wilson was on the core play action, deep concepts that are critical to Arthur Smith's offense according to next gen stats on Sunday night football, Wilson went eight of nine for 100 50 yards on play action.

That was the most yards on play action in the game by Steelers quarterback since 2016, which is pretty crazy.

Meanwhile, Justin Fields actually got significantly worse when he had to do play action on drop backs compared to non play action, drop backs.

This brought to life George pickens' game who Pickens is basically a better version of Courtland Sutton who just had a really nice season with Russell Wilson last year.

So their connection made sense.

We're talking go routes fades.

That is the strength of Russell Wilson's game as a passer.

It really overlaps with George Pickens, which was great to see.

That is something we definitely care about coming out of week seven.

What we don't care about is like, unfortunately, we don't care about the Devonta Adams trade.

Like, yes, Devante Adams objectively makes the Jets offense better.

It's objectively better to have him out there than a guy like Mike Williams or some of the other players that are running out there, but it just doesn't move the needle enough for this Jets team.

They have way too many issues that Devote Adams is not going to fix.

Bruce Hall's Fantasy season is on track, but the run game is still abominable.

The offensive line gives up quick pressures, the torpedo plays before they even begin outside of design, scripted deep shots.

The quarterback can only run quick game, man.

That's not even touching on the design flaws of this offense.

So Devote Adams, yes, it's great that he's out there, but it did not save the Jets offense.

And frankly, that was never gonna be enough to get this unit on track.
