Here's what I care and don't care about coming out of Chargers 34 Bengals 27.

What I care about is that the L A Chargers are the right kind of volatile.

I know I'm not the first person to say this.

Certainly many people have said this but that sure felt like a game that previous versions of the L A Chargers absolutely let slip through their fingers and they lose not this version of the Chargers because again, they lead into the right type of volatile, some timely moments from the defense, some aggressive moments from the defense paid off, but most want to talk about the offense here.

Yes.

The fantasy community absolutely missed on the Chargers offense and it's because they overrated empty calorie volume stats from previous coaching staffs.

And they did not see that what we have on our plate this year is a volatile Justin Herbert and that is a good thing, Herbert came into this game averaging his highest yards per completion mark of his career and with 297 yards on 70 completions in this win, I'm thinking that gap is only gonna grow.

It's been great to see Justin Herbert unleash a guy in Lad mcconkie who is a real deal downfield winner, route runner from the slot.

I love this Charters offense.

I love that.

They lean into the volatility.

It's all good things for Herbert who's access to new ceiling in his fantasy outlook, especially with 66 yards on the ground from scrambles.

I love this Charters offense.

I think they play football the right way in the modern NFL.

The thing that I don't care about is, ah, man, I don't care about the Bengals future because I am trying to live in the moment.

It's frustrating because I think this Bengal season is ultimately gonna go down as a disappointment.

It's all about missed opportunities.

It's all about some late game issues and really, it feels like this might be the final chapter of the Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase T Higgins trio and this is the season we're gonna get out of it from a fantasy perspective.

It's one of the best carnivals in the NFL.

They give up a ton of points.

They score a bunch of points.

That's wonderful.

But it just feels like it's hard to live in the moment.

It's hard to stay in the present when the future is looming.

But for now, I'm just trying to ignore that and live in the present and enjoy the fantasy points cause that's probably all we're gonna get out of this Bengal season.
