Do arsenal have a red card problem?

Ok. Do they call it arsenal?

The Reds, sometimes the Reds, the Gooners.

I don't know.

Does anyone else get red cards in the league?

I only if you're wearing an arsenal kit, apparently it's making my life, uh, quite exciting and not in a good way as an arsenal fan.

What is, what, how can you explain this?

So how many red cards?

It sucks.

How many red cards does Arsenal have this season?

I'm not sure this season three so far this season, three matches where we've, uh, where Arsenal we've arsenal.

I'm not on the team.

Arsenal have played with 10 men, which is kind of, it's very difficult to get points.

Yeah, it's difficult to get it.

You know, as, as the team that has been anointed as the, the club that is going to give us that title challenge that we've been clamoring for these last four years because Manchester City seemingly always end up with the title.

This ain't the way to do it.

What is going on?

Is this what you want your league to be the refs, bro.

You're making this into Bundesliga 2010 to 2022 because this is becoming um first of all, it was a yellow card initially, VA R stepped in and said, hey, I'm a city fan, Mitchell 100%.

I believe it.

I believe it.

We're getting down to the bottom.

No, dude, if you go back mckellar and I got the job on boxing day.

And what was it?

2020 2020 2020.

Since then Arsenal have had 18 red cards.

That is five more than second place.

That's the most, that is comical.

It's a lot.

But here's the thing.

Remember back then we were all like, oh, it's a young squad.

You're gonna make mistakes.

Them days is over, bro.

You got to stop doing this because this is my concern here is that as far as the comparison, Arsenal and Manchester City are always gonna be compared to each other, especially with Arteta.

Was he an assistant for pep over there?

So you would imagine there's understanding of these are the teams of how you put up a title challenge.

Both these guys know how to do it, right?

But my concern here is that Arteta did not bring some of the mentality over from city of just like, you know, accountability, responsibility Truss making this pass to, to uh see, I don't know who to saliva to, to, to Raya.

I don't know why he is putting Saliba in even in this position to get this red card.

It's kind of the way they play though.

I mean, it's, you know, you should be able to make a slightly dangerous pass, slightly, very slightly dangerous pass.

It's not the smartest, I mean, to be able to pay it back and for these things not to happen.

But I think if you're, if I'm gonna speak for arsenal fans here, all we want is consistency.

And if you look at the Diego jota move, uh play similar, I would even say that there's, there's a lot less defenders around and that's not, this was the Chelsea Liverpool match.

Uh the Declan Rice and who was it?

Declan Rice and Landro Tr both got red cards for her second yellow for kicking the ball, delaying the game plays and even in those games, other, the other team delayed the game.

They don't get even a yell.

Ok?

And then there's so many excuses.

Well, he was passing it near the goal, he was passing it near the referee.

Oh, well, he cleared it out and I'm not sure why that wasn't.

And then other games.

So I think if you're an arsenal fan, I think you have a right to be frustrated because even within the same match day, you're seeing more egregious examples that aren't getting red cards, especially the ref going back to VA R going back to the screen and coming out and going up.

Actually, that was a red.

So whatever, it's difficult.

But now you're not arsenal's left without to leave it for Liverpool, which is frustrating, but like, look, the title of this video isn't, uh, do the refs have a red card problem is, do Arsenal have a red?

I'm switching it on them.

I'm flipping the table.

This is unfair because they think arsenal they don't have a red card problem.

I think Arsenal have a mentality problem.

So this season it seems like Arsenal had become a bit more defensive, a bit more aggressive, a bit more on the front foot, not being the arsenal of old, especially under arson manger, which is like, you kind of let teams bully you a little bit because we're gonna, we're gonna pass around the aggression then now it seems like Arteta wants them to be the aggressor and I think in many ways, maybe the team isn't really prepared for that just yet.

I think that not having Odegaard ha not having your captain, uh, you know, due due to injury.

I think that's what's affected the mentality because the players that are getting sent off.

I mean, you can't really blame saliva.

It's not really a mentality thing.

I mean, he instinctive, but you can't do it, you can't do it.

The instinct was like, oh, let me, let me slow him down just a little bit and can I can I give you a slightly different hot take, not to blame, but let me just finish my point.

I'm just saying not having a guard there seeing who, who is getting red carded Declan Rice is getting that red trust are getting, that is doing too much.

There's, there's something IIO seem to be the guy that keep, kept everybody in line back without a doubt.

He the home bro, none of us detention.

He's like you're gonna get these guys are coming.

We need that guy.

So, yeah, I think you might be right there.

I think for me, when I look at it, I think what I see is a team that is a bit naive in a sense and you know, is trying too hard to be aggressive and it's sort of it's getting thrown back in their face.

Yeah, it's uh it's unfortunate and maybe if, you know, Arteta has some uh guts and he plays starts one year instead of three defensive midfielders essentially as a, as a non arsenal fan that would just like to see another team city win it or even as an Everton fan that does not want Liverpool win.

I'm very frustrated with arsenal football club, not be with you folks.

So get it fix it quickly six out of seven per city.
