The Seahawks are mediocre.

Uh, they're gonna be in playoff contention.

They're fine, but what we saw last night is what we saw each of the last two seasons as part of the reason Pete Carroll is not there anymore.

They're just not in the same zip code as the 49er.

The 49er beat them up, push them around.

Yeah, see how we got back in the game.

They had chances to win.

It's like the Sea Hawks are what they are.

They're gonna be this 98, maybe 10 if everything breaks well team, whereas everybody was kind of lukewarm on the 49er coming into this game and, uh, maybe they're not that good.

Maybe the 49ers are fine.

They're a top five team in the NFL.

They're going to get healthier as we go along.

They're still able to turn anybody's lights out.

They could still win a Super Bowl.

That's what last night showed to me.

I did a few media hits, um, heading into Thursday and it was still, this are we worried about Brock Purdy and then last night, I'm looking at it and I'm, I'm like, this is, we gotta stop having and me personally, I have to stop doing this every two or three games.

What is Brock Purdy?

Let's reassess what's Purdy now?

Oh, geez.

Everything hasn't been perfect.

Oh, they're struggling.

We have to allow them moments to sort themselves out just like we do every other team and, and I have to continue to repeat over and over the first four games of the season or the preseason and then the next four games in the season are essentially, that's, that's where your season's really kicking off.

You should be, um, finding your chemistry at that point and starting to click.

Look, you guys know, I love my eighties, wrestling analogies like hacksaw, Jim Duggan used to walk into the wrestling range.

Just go, oh, with the, the big two by four over his shoulder, that's how I feel every time Brock Purdy has a throw like he did last night to George Ktel in the end zone because there, there just aren't a lot of quarterbacks that can throw the ball that perfectly, that accurately in that situation.

Like there was one inch that, that ball could go into and he squeezed it in and I just found myself being like, oh, because I've been saying it for a long time, I just, the funny thing is to me at some point, I just don't care where he was drafted and at some point, I don't care who his head coach is.

I'm just looking at a quarterback that is executing this year.

He's using that Ale theism.

He's running around sometimes he's making plays.

We didn't know he could make and he still delivers an incredibly accurate football on time.

Every single time he seems to need to like, yes, even really good quarterbacks will occasionally have ok games or bad games that happens to all of them.

I'm just tired of every time he has a bad game of becoming this narrative that Brock Purdy isn't any good.

Like he's proven he's gonna get paid, he should get paid.

He's among the better quarterbacks in the NFL.
