One of your favorite nights of the year, the home run derby.

And even though it's coming up here, it's, you know, less than three weeks away, we haven't really been, I haven't seen a lot of buzz about who's doing it and who's not.

Uh, so who, who could do it, who should do it and who we think will do it.

There's almost always a hometown guy and by that specifically, we mean a ranger, right?

There will be at least one ranger in the home run derby that is a given three names pop up to me.

Adalise Garcia, Nate Lowe and Wyatt Langford.

I think I'm leaning Nate Lowe here.

Nate Lowe just is the right kind of energy for this.

He's always clearly having a good time when he's playing baseball, he'll hit a bunch of poolside Jacks.

Nate Lowe feels like the most likely scenario.

Oftentimes it's like, oh, maybe we can actually make this over the real hometown guy, right?

And in this case, you got Bobby Witt junior who went to high school half an hour from Globe Life Field and, you know, his dad played for the Rangers forever and I know he wasn't playing in that ballpark, but like by way, Junior is obviously gonna be an all star.

Now, this is a situation where do you want?

Like, will the Royals let Bobby Wood Junior do the Homer derby?

I feel like, yes, I feel like this is a situation where he can kind of tell them like I'm doing the derby and they're not going to tell him no, but I think that one's on the line, but I still think it would be, it would be awesome to see.

And I think there's a decent chance it happens.

The next one is Gunnar Henderson who said that he would do it if asked, hey, Gunner spoiler, they're gonna ask you, MLB is gonna ask you Gunner and he will probably do it if the Orioles let Adley do it last year.

They will almost certainly let Gunner do it this year.

Barring injury.

I think he is a lock like he is the guy.

I'm the most confident in being there.

Speaking of guys that MLB is going to ask, I think I feel pretty good that they will be submitting a hump, a request to one shoe Otani to participate in this year Derby, please.
