Vanessa Bryant has heard about Meek Mill’s new song that references her husband, and she — like countless others — isn’t happy about it.

Vanessa slammed Meek Mill in an Instagram story Monday night, calling his new line about Kobe and the helicopter crash that killed him, their daughter and seven others “extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period.”

“I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this,” she wrote, in part. “If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”

Meek Mill defends song

Lyrics to Meek Mill’s new unreleased song, reportedly titled “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe),” were leaked last week.

“This b**** I’m f***in’ always tell me that she love but she ain’t ever showed me,” the song goes. “Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.”

Lil Baby is also on the song, and reportedly references Kobe and Gianna — though does so in a much, much better way.

“...have a son, so I can name him Kobe/Daughter Gigi,” he says.

Obviously, considering how Kobe, Gianna and the others died, Meek Mill’s lyric didn’t sit well with many. He, though, defended himself on Twitter like he often does.
