No. 4 Ohio State wins 49-6 in Urban Meyer's first game back
Urban Meyer’s first game in 2018 was pretty easy.
Dwayne Haskins threw five first-half touchdowns as No. 4 Ohio State rolled 49-6 over Tulane. Two of those touchdown passes were to Paris Campbell, who had eight catches for 147 yards. Ohio State led 42-6 at halftime and simply coasted in the second half.
Meyer greeted with applause
Meyer’s suspension ended Sunday but Saturday’s game against Tulane was the first game he coached all season. Unsurprisingly, he was greeted warmly by Ohio State fans as he walked into Ohio Stadium.

Here’s what it was like when Meyer got to the field. Meyer missed the first three games of the season for his role in the handling of domestic abuse allegations against former assistant coach Zach Smith.
Not everyone was happy with Meyer, however. This person decided Saturday was a good time to head to the stadium and try to get some attention.

Ohio State was coached by offensive coordinator Ryan Day while Meyer was gone. Day returned to his role as offensive coordinator against Tulane as OSU easily covered as a five-touchdown favorite.
