UNC Women’s Basketball ACC tournament schedule released

The UNC women’s basketball program will be dancing soon, but first, they will try to bring the Atlantic Coast Conference championship back to Chapel Hill.

After sending atch-rival Duke Blue Devils back home with an L Sunday, the Tar Heels have full momentum heading into the ACC tournament. UNC drew the eight seed, with Virginia Tech grabbing No. 1, NC State at No.2, Syracuse at three, Notre Dame at four, Louisville at five, Florida State at six, and Duke at seven.

Behind UNC is Miami at nine, Georgia Tech at ten, Virginia at eleven, Clemson at twelve, Boston College at thirteen, Wake Forest at fourteen, and Pitt at fifteen. UNC’s first matchup will be against the Miami Hurricanes on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time.

If the Tar Heels win, they will take on Virginia Tech on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The semi-finals will take place on Saturday, and the ACC championship game will take place on Sunday afternoon.

UNC has had great success against some of the top teams in the tournament, with wins over NC State, Syracuse, and Notre Dame and a tough overtime loss against Virginia Tech.
