UNC basketball moves up again in ESPN Bracketology

The North Carolina Tar Heels got this week off to a good start this week with another double-digit win over Wake Forest on Monday night. UNC passed another test, winning their ninth straight game.

And with that result, they also moved up in Joe Lunardi’s latest Bracketology.

Lunardi released his updated Bracketology on Tuesday morning, moving North Carolina from the No. 4 overall team to the No. 3 team on the one seed line. This update comes just a few days after his latest on Sunday, taking into account the weekend games as well as Monday’s games in college basketball.

North Carolina is listed as the No. 1 seed in the South Region (Dallas) and would square off against the winner of Jackson State and Central Connecticut which is a play-in game. Seton Hall and Nebraska would be the 8/9 matchup in that region.

As for the Atlantic Coast Conference, there are just three teams in the field with Duke as a No. 4 seed and Clemson as a No. 7 seed. Wake Forest is the only other ACC team on the bubble, sitting as the first four out.
