[autotag]Sean O'Malley[/autotag] made sure to leave no doubt when it came to avenging his only professional MMA loss.

Back in March at UFC 299, O'Malley fought Marlon Vera in a rematch that stemmed from a 2020 meet that left O'Malley with a first-round TKO loss on his record. In a flawless performance, O'Malley badly beat Vera over the course of 25 minutes to avenge his defeat and retain his UFC bantamweight title.

O’Malley (18-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) returns to the cage on Sept. 14 for his second UFC bantamweight title defense. He takes on Merab Dvalishvili (17-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC) in the main event of UFC 306, which is set to go down at Sphere in Las Vegas.
