UFC on ABC 7 bonuses: Michael Chiesa passed up for extra $50K for Tony Ferguson's record-setting loss
The UFC handed out four bonuses after Saturday's card, and had a chance to give one to a longtime fighter who hasn't gotten one in more than eight years – [autotag]Michael Chiesa[/autotag] – but passed up on his first-round finish.
After UFC on ABC 7, four fighters picked up an extra $50,000 for their performances in Abu Dhabi. Check out the winners below.
Performance of the Night: Azamat Murzakanov

After more than a year away, [autotag]Azamat Murzakanov[/autotag] (14-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) returned and looked as good as ever with a several-punch combination that had Alonzo Menifield (15-5-1 MMA, 8-5-1 UFC) stumbling backward with his mouthpiece falling out. When Menifield hit the floor, Murzakanov hit him a couple more times for the second-round finish. Then, on the strength of his 14-0 record, he asked for an opponent in the light heavyweight top five – and on the main card.
Performance of the Night: Joel Alvarez

Joel Alvarez (21-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) never stopped going after a finish against Elves Brener (16-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC), and deep in the third round he started landing knees. And landing. And landing. And landing. It felt like dozens, but eventually Brener went down for a big Alvarez finish.
Fight of the Night: Shara Magomedov vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk

Shara Magomedov def. Michal Oleksiejczuk via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
[autotag]Shara Magomedov[/autotag] (14-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) stayed unbeaten in the co-main event and outworked Michal Oleksiejczuk (19-9 MMA, 17-7 UFC) for a unanimous decision.
