Twitter reacts to Harrison Barnes best landing spots
North Carolina Tar Heel Harrison Barnes trends on Twitter after fans discuss his next destination in the NBA.
Barnes is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent, and fans are already debating which team could use his services for a path to a championship. Barnes’s longevity as a starter and the champion experience he brings to the table make the Tar Heel a perfect fit for numerous teams around the NBA.
Barnes is coming off one of his best seasons, starting all 82 games while averaging 15 points and 4.5 rebounds. Changing teams is familiar territory for Barnes; after winning a championship with the Golden State Warriors, he was with the Dallas Mavericks for two seasons before getting traded to the Sacramento Kings.
The Tar Heel has helped the Kings find their path back to the playoffs after a 16-year playoff drought. There is no actual crystal ball that says where Barnes will end up, but many Sacramento fans are hoping they can keep Barnes in hopes of lighting the beam past the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Let us look at what fans believe is the best landing spot for Harrison Barnes.
Im so in favor of signing Harrison Barnes and taking on Ben Simmons’ contract for picks.
Sign me up.
Gives us more trade assets + a big salary matching contract which puts us in exponentially better position to trade for a star next offseason or that deadline.

There's no logical scenario where Harrison Barnes returning to the Kings is a bad thing. It's that simple.

I’m more convinced than ever that Harrison Barnes will be an Indiana Pacer by the end of July.
“The Pacers, sources said, are also a strong contender to sign Harrison Barnes from the Sacramento Kings. Barnes had a close relationship with All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton during… https://t.co/dbpRdzgOBu pic.twitter.com/9aWXwfra1i

This is my tier list of FAs for Cleveland (focusing on wings):
Dream fit but unlikely
– Harrison Barnes
– Kyle KuzmaQuality additions
– Yuta Watanabe
– Max Strus
– Donte DiVincenzoI'd give 'em the veteran min.
– Joe Ingles
– Danny Green
– T.J. Warren
– JaMychal Green— Tony Pesta (@Tony_Pesta) June 27, 2023
If I had to guess what Monte McNair is going to do this draft/free agency, it’s one of 4 things:
1. Trade for OG Anunoby
2. Sign Kyle Kuzma
3. Re-sign Harrison Barnes
4. Draft a wing at #24

Harrison Barnes is a great teammate and is always available. Brining him back is an option but I still think the Kings need to find a long term 5th starter this offseason.

Harrison Barnes’ USAGE RATE was significantly higher in Dallas under Rick Carlisle than any other team he was on:
Dallas – 24.9%
Sacramento – 17.5%
Golden State – 16.3%He took 15.6 FGA per game in Dallas compared to 10.6 FGA in Sacramento and 8.5 FGA in Golden State. pic.twitter.com/QhQJLsnAdP

What’s the most you’d give Harrison Barnes in terms of average annual value?

MLE candidates I like:
Josh Richardson (kinda mitigated by Bufkin tho)
Harrison Barnes
Torrey Craig
Alex LenThat’s about it… not a ton in that range this year https://t.co/EFBJEkcLA5

I’d really like Kuzma.
Harrison Barnes is a perfectly fine placeholder.
Grant Williams or Strus feel like bad contracts in the making who don’t excite me whatsoever. https://t.co/XugfZZFLsN— Cameron (@ThatManCam) June 27, 2023
