Prayers up for Tua Tagovailoa after his latest concussion on Thursday night after a legal hit from Damar Hamlin. It's led to all kinds of speculation and talk about retirement from talking heads.

Although we don't know if or when the Miami Dolphins quarterback is coming back in 2024, what we do know is the team may not want to stick with Skylar Thompson at the position if the team wants to contend.

So who could replace Tagovailoa at quarterback? Here's a list of some names who could be available, including a certain future Hall of Famer everyone's talking about:

1. Tom Brady

There are a lot of problems with this, namely his minority ownership of the Las Vegas Raiders and his new role as broadcaster for Fox Sports.

But it's on a lot of folks' minds.

2. Ryan Tannehill

He might be the biggest name on the free-agent market and he could do pretty well with receivers like Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill.

3. Blaine Gabbert

He's a veteran who could add some stability.

4. Josh Dobbs

Maybe the Niners would trade him given that he's behind Brock Purdy and Brandon Allen, and he could be dynamic in this offense.

5. Taylor Heinicke

The Chargers don't need two backups in Heinicke and Easton Stick.
