Trevor Etienne injury update: Georgia football RB injures shoulder in game vs. Kentucky

Georgia starting running back Trevor Etienne was injured in the second quarter of the Bulldogs game against Kentucky Saturday night.

Etienne sustained a shoulder injury and is “out for now,” according to a team spokesman. Georgia radio sideline reporter D.J. Shockley reported the injury is to Etienne's left shoulder.

Georgia and Kentucky were tied at 3 late in the second quarter when Etienne went out.

Etienne left the game with Georgia struggling mightily on offense in the first half. He had 9 of Georgia’s 12 first-half carries, but did not have much success as the Bulldogs line was handled.

Etienne rushed for 78 yards on 5 carries in his Georgia debut last week after being suspended for the opener. He had 26 yards on 9 carries before his injury with a long rush of 7 yards.
