After losing four of their last five Serie A games, Torino could face city rivals Juventus next weekend without Ché Adams, a further blow to coach Paolo Vanoli, who already lost their star Duvan Zapata recently.

The Scotland international was forced off of his side’s away clash at Fiorentina due to a muscular injury after just 15 minutes and the Granata are holding their breath while waiting to know the outcome of medical tests.

Ché Adams could miss Turin derby with muscular injury

As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, Ché Adams is expected to have picked up a muscular strain to his left thigh, a scenario that would put him at high risk of missing his first-ever Turin derby.

While Paolo Vanoli hopes the Scottish player can be available at least to start from the bench, his chances of being called-up currently look slight.

Adams’ importance for Torino increased after Zapata’s long-term injury, as he remained the most prolific striker at Vanoli’s disposal following a brilliant start to his Serie A career, with three goals from his first six games, although five scoreless appearances followed.
