Kicker isn’t a position most of us put a lot of thought into when it comes to constructing our fantasy rosters. At least, not until we have to, when our incumbent kicker leaves us a few points short in a close loss or needs to be replaced during a bye.

That’s why it’s important to know which kickers are the best options each week (and likely available). FTW has the answers right here. But first…

Week 6 top performers

  • Jake Bates, Detroit Lions (17 points)

  • Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers (14 points)

  • Younghoe Koo, Atlanta Falcons (12 points)

  • Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens (12 points)

  • Matthew Wright, San Francisco 49ers (12 points)

Now, here’s who you should target this week:

5. Brandon McManus, Green Bay Packers (vs. Houston Texans)

This will be McManus' first game of the season, but he has the benefit of what should be a solid floor of extra point attempts in what I'm expecting to be a shootout. And he'll maybe have some field goal opportunities sprinkled in.

4. Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks (at Atlanta Falcons)

I feel like Myers keeps making this list without the season stats to back it up, but if he doesn't put up a big number against the Falcons then this may be the last time. Atlanta allows the most fantasy points to kicker.

3. Cameron Dicker, Los Angeles Chargers (at Arizona Cardinals)

Coming off his best game of the season against an unlikely opponent, Dicker should be able to keep it going against the Cards.

2. Joshua Karty, Los Angeles Rams (vs. Las Vegas Raiders)

It's been an uneven fantasy season for Karty, but he has a prime matchup against a Raiders team allowing the second-most points to kickers.

1. Chase McLaughlin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs. Baltimore Ravens)

McLaughlin is averaging a solid 10 points over the last three weeks. Baltimore is going to score points and force him to keep that up in what should be a high-scoring game.
