Kicker isn’t a position most of us put a lot of thought into when it comes to constructing our fantasy rosters. At least, not until we have to, when our incumbent kicker leaves us a few points short in a close loss or needs to be replaced during a bye.

That’s why it’s important to know which kickers are the best options each week (and likely available). FTW has the answers right here. But first…

Week 7 top performers

  • Austin Seibert, Washington Commanders (16 points)

  • Daniel Carlson, Las Vegas Raiders (15 points)

  • Cameron Dicker, Los Angeles Chargers (15 points)

  • Wil Lutz, Denver Broncos (15 points)

  • Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers (13 points)

Now, here’s who you should target this week:

5. Anders Carlson, San Francisco 49ers (vs. Dallas Cowboys)

Carlson was a little shaky in his debut last week, nailing both field goal attempts but missing an extra point. But he has range, a banged up offense short on playmakers, and a good matchup against Dallas this week.

4. Jason Sanders, Miami Dolphins (vs. Arizona Cardinals)

It's been a rough six-game start to the season for Sanders fantasy managers, but things are looking up with Tua Tagovailoa returning to the Dolphins.

3. Jake Bates, Detroit Lions (vs. Tennessee Titans)

Bates posted seven fantasy points last week against the team that allows the fewest points to kickers. With that type of production against Minnesota, imagine what he can do against the Titans, who allow the sixth-most points.

2. Wil Lutz, Denver Broncos (vs. Carolina Panthers)

Lutz has alternated double-digit and single-digit scoring weeks all season, and this would be a single-digit week if that trend continues. But the Panthers allow the third-most fantasy points to kickers, so he's likely to put that trend to bed with another big game this week.

1. Cameron Dicker, Los Angeles Chargers (vs. New Orleans Saints)

Fresh off his best game of the season, which tied for the second-most fantasy points among kickers last week, Dicker is still available in almost half of Yahoo Sports leagues. He has a fantastic matchup against the Saints this week.
