Tony Romo is unfortunately great at breaking down his worst plays in Dallas
Perhaps the most surprising aspect of Tony Romo: Broadcaster, is just how much he’s made people forget about Tony Romo: Quarterback.

Technically, the two exist in the same universe, but how could that be? It seems impossible that the color analyst who is able to read plays before they happen could be the same guy who fell apart in December every season.
It’s left us to wonder just what would happen if Romo were to call one of his own games.
Well, there’s not much left to wonder thanks to the internet. Now we know almost exactly how Romo would’ve treated his own play from the booth.

Yes, this is a tad cruel. Yes, it’s a bit funny.
What ties it perfectly together is the confidence in Romo’s voice as he’s calling out the numerous mistakes made while the Romo on the field is frantically failing over and over again.

This isn’t to take away from the numerous on-field accomplishments from Romo’s time in Dallas. But it certainly goes to show just how much tougher it is to play quarterback than it is to critique it.
Keep that in mind on Monday mornings next season. Or at the very least, keep it in mind when Romo is accurately predicting every play next year.
