Tom Brady turns heads next to Gisele Bundchen at Met Gala with unorthodox tuxedo
Tom Brady joined his supermodel wife at Monday’s Met Gala in New York, and his choice of dress somehow took the attention away from Gisele Bundchen on the red carpet, setting social media ablaze with commentary.
Twitter has jokes.
Is he a magician?
tom brady looks like he's about to ask a room full of people to suspend their disbelief and believe in the power of magic just for one night pic.twitter.com/VO98UB5gyq

Is he a vampire?
Tom Brady is dressed like Blade is about to slay him and the rest of the Vampire High Council. #MetGala pic.twitter.com/dmOEN4idvu

Or maybe a Marvel villain.
Tom Brady looks like a villain from Black Panther 2 who comes to T'Challa offering some "new ideas" for Wakanda. https://t.co/hqc1Vttd79

Or a fill-in in a Will Ferrell joint.

Maybe he’s looking ahead to a “Karate Kid” reboot for his post-NFL career.

Some are wondering what all the hubbub is about.
Not sure what all the hoopla around this is . All I see is a photo of Gisele. Is there something else in it? It's a nice photo, I'll give it that… https://t.co/rVJpKbyNWN

NFL writers are taking a break from evaluating game film to join the fashion critique.
If this is what Tom Brady traded for two more years of playing football he lost that deal worse than the Patriots lost the Jimmy Garoppolo trade. pic.twitter.com/4tjEt3EOL9

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport respects the bold choice.
Saw Tom Brady’s outfit for the Met Gala. Let me just say… I support it. You reach a certain point, have as much success as he’s had, you can wear whatever you want. He could show up as Spiderman or an old-school rapper and I’d be like, “Man, I respect it, go with what you feel.”

Newsday’s Nick Klopsis does not.
My future child: “Dad, why was Tom Brady a sixth-round pick?”

Whatever criticism Twitter has of Brady’s fashion choice, he still has a different Super Bowl ring to wear for each weekday and spends his offseason doing things like attending the Met Gala with his beautiful, accomplished wife.
So he probably doesn’t care.
