Tom Brady to call game against team he beat more than any other in NFL

Tom Brady gets another crack at the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo has a better chance of winning with Brady in the broadcast booth than on the football field.

Brady will be calling his first Bills game as a FOX analyst when Buffalo travels to play the Seattle Seahawks at 4:05 p.m. Sunday. He is paired with play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion will hope for the same success announcing Bills games as he had playing in them.

Brady enjoyed utter dominance versus the Bills, beating them more than any other team. He had a 33-3 record against the Bills, 32-3 as a member of the New England Patriots and 1-0 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady's only three losses to the Bills came in 2003, 2011 and 2014, but he led New England to a Super Bowl appearance to end each of those seasons.

The Patriots' average margin of victory was 16.1 in those 32 wins. Six of the beatdowns were by at least 30 points, including a 56-10 rout in 2007 when Brady threw for five touchdowns and the Patriots' offense scored touchdowns on its first seven drives.

Buffalo did not win an AFC East title in Brady's tenure in the division. New England captured the division championship 17 times in Brady's 20 seasons with the Patriots. The Bills ended a 25-year drought as AFC East champions in 2020, the year Brady left New England for Tampa Bay, and have won four straight without Brady in the division.

Brady completed 769 of 1,200 passes for 9,032 yards with 72 touchdown passes and 25 interceptions in the 36 head-to-head matchups with Buffalo. The Bills did account for 4 of the 18 pick-sixes in Brady's career.

Brady and Bills quarterback Josh Allen overlapped in the league from 2018-2022, with Brady winning all four times the quarterbacks faced off. Brady was paired with Aaron Rodgers against Allen and Patrick Mahomes in an all-quarterback version of The Match golf challenge in June 2022. Brady and Rodgers won on the 12th and final hole.

Brady has garnered mixed reviews in his first season as a broadcaster but has improved since his debut.
