Third quarter struggles once again cost Boston Celtics in tough two-point loss to Indiana Pacers

In a hard-fought battle between the Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers, the Pacers emerged victorious with a narrow 133-131 win, perhaps with a late boost from the folks in black and white shirts. Despite a strong fourth quarter effort and some controversial officiating decisions, the Celtics could not overcome the Pacers in the tilt’s waning seconds, resulting in an especially frustrating loss for Boston fans.

The recurring issue of the Celtics’ struggles in the third quarter was also a factor as Indiana came out aggressive after losing star point guard Tyrese Halliburton to injury in the contest’s second quarter.

NBC Sports Boston’s Eddie House, Brian Scalabrine and Drew Carter joined Amina Smith to talk over what they saw in the Pacers’ controversial win.
