What do we think the Boston Celtics should do at the NBA’s 2024 trade deadline? Owners of an open roster spot and a $6.2 million traded player exception created from signing and trading Grant Williams to the Dallas Mavericks, the Celtics seem poised to do SOMETHING — but what?

CLNS Media reporter Bobby Manning recently weighed in from a recent Celtics practice where Boston head coach Joe Mazzulla and Celtics point guard Derrick White hoped for a quiet trade deadline. Mazzulla told team president Brad Stevens that he doesn’t believe Boston needs a move and though they talk daily, they’ve agreed on the importance of preserving the locker room past deadline day on Feb. 8 at 3pm ET.
