Texas Tech basketball's Warren Washington out against Baylor

The 23rd-ranked Texas Tech basketball team will be without one of its key pieces tonight against No. 13 Baylor.

Warren Washington, Tech's 7-foot starting center, will miss the game against the Bears due to illness, according to a Tech release. Coach Grant McCasland said Washington wasn't 100% in the loss to Cincinnati on Saturday and will be unable to go tonight.

Washington started each of Tech's first 21 games of the season, leading the team in rebounding (7.6 per game) and blocks (34). He is also second in the Big 12 in field goal percentage (61.9%).

Lamar Washington, who missed Saturday's loss to Cincinnati due to illness, is scheduled to make his return to the floor.
