Texas Tech basketball remains in national rankings after 0-2 week

Despite two setbacks last week, the Texas Tech basketball team remains in the national rankings.

After leaping to 15th in the country in last week's Associated Press poll, the Red Raiders (16-5, 5-3) came in at No. 23 in the rankings released Monday.

This is the fourth week in a row the Red Raiders have been ranked, peaking at 15 last week after being ranked 20th and 25th in previous polls.

The Red Raiders lost both games last week, dropping an 85-78 game at No. 25 TCU and suffering a 75-72 setback at home against Cincinnati on Saturday.

Texas Tech will try to get back on track Tuesday with a road game at Baylor, scheduled for 8 p.m. on ESPN.
