Tennessee's all time football results on Oct. 19

No. 10 Tennessee (5-1, 1-1 SEC) will host No. 7 Alabama (5-1, 2-1 SEC) in Week 8 of the 2024 college football season.

Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. EDT at Neyland Stadium. ABC will televise the contest between the two SEC rivals.

Saturday will mark the 17th time that the Vols have played on Oct. 19. Tennessee's previous record in games played on this date is 8-7-1. Saturday's contest will mark the 13th time the Vols and Crimson Tide will have played each other on Oct. 19, as the game is traditionally scheduled on the Third Saturday in October.

Tennessee and Alabama have split its previous 12 meetings played on this date.

The Vols first played on Oct. 19 in 1901, tying Clemson, 6-6. Tennessee last played on Oct. 19 in 2019, losing to the Crimson Tide, 35-13.
