Tennessee Titans' Jeffery Simmons exits Colts game with injury, ruled out | Latest updates
Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons left Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts with a knee injury in the third quarter. He was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Simmons initially stayed on the ground after a play early in the Colts' first drive of the third quarter, walked off the field with Titans medical personnel and returned a couple of plays later without going into the injury tent.
The Titans' star defensive tackle left the field again a few plays later on the same drive, slammed his helmet on the ground and this time went into the tent.
Simmons then walked slowly with a slight limp into the Titans' locker room minutes later.

Titans' Jeffery Simmons injury update
Simmons, the 2019 first-round pick out of Mississippi State, is coming off of his best game of the season, last week's 17-10 win over the Carolina Panthers. Simmons had a sack, three tackles for a loss, a forced fumble and was generally a menace all game against a bad Panthers offensive line.
