Tennessee Titans hire former Packers executive Chad Brinker as assistant general manager
The Tennessee Titans have hired Green Bay Packers personnel and football administration executive Chad Brinker as their next assistant general manager.
Brinker has been in Green Bay since 2010, working his way up through the Packers' front office in various roles. He was a scouting assistant and pro scout until 2017 when he moved into an assistant director of pro scouting and salary cap analyst role. He held that position for three seasons before moving into his job as personnel and football administration executive in 2020.
“Chad brings a unique skill set to our franchise,” Titans general manager Ran Carthon said. "He has touched every facet of the personnel department, working in pro personnel, college scouting, cap management and analytics. We are excited to add his knowledge and experience to our evolving personnel group.”

Like Carthon, Brinker is a former college running back. He played at Ohio from 1999-2002, rushing for 2,826 yards and 27 touchdowns.
Brinker is Carthon's first major hire since becoming GM in January. Carthon came to the Titans after six years with the San Francisco 49ers where he served as director of player personnel and director of pro personnel.
