Tennessee Titans add Tyke Tolbert as wide receivers coach | Report
New Tennessee Titans coach Brian Callahan has reportedly added a position coach to his staff.
Tyke Tolbert will be the Titans wide receivers coach, NFL Network reported Thursday.
Tolbert, 56, was the Chicago Bears wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator for the past two seasons. He has 21 seasons of NFL coaching experience across six franchises as a receivers coach, including Chicago, the New York Giants (2018-21), Denver (2011-17), Carolina (2010), Buffalo (2004-09) and Arizona (2003). He coached alongside Callahan in Denver for five seasons, including the Super Bowl 50 winning season in 2015.

Tolbert chose TENN over 2 other possibilities in part due to Titans HC Brian Callahan — they won Super Bowl together w/ 2015 Broncos.

Tolbert will be tasked to help a Titans receiving corps that should get some attention during the offseason. DeAndre Hopkins had his seventh career 1,000-yard receiving season in 2023, but no other receiver had more than 450 receiving yards last year. That includes 2021 first-round pick Treylon Burks, who struggled with injuries and ineffectiveness.
Former Titans receivers coach Rob Moore, who was on staff for all of Mike Vrabel's six-year tenure, was named Carolina's receivers coach earlier this week.
