The Buffalo Bills (4-2) entered Monday's matchup against the New York Jets (2-4) in a pivotal spot in which they would have to win if they wanted to stay atop the AFC East. Buffalo had its work cut out because they would be running into a New York team fresh of firing its head coach as the franchise looks to remain in position for the playoffs.

Fortunately for Bills Mafia, the Bills came out on top over the Jets 23-20 to knock New York down to 2-4 while Buffalo has a considerable lead over the Miami Dolphins to lead the division. The game was riddled with penalties for both teams and the Bills came into the game short-handed with starting running back James Cook being ruled out prior to kickoff with a toe injury.

The Jets put up quite the fight until the end, including one of the best plays of the season with New York quarterback Aaron Rodgers completing a Hail Mary pass to wide receiver Allen Lazard to go into halftime down 20-17 instead of 20-10. Buffalo managed to hang on for the win on a windy night that made things difficult for both teams' kickers so without further ado, here is the Bills' stock report following Monday's win over the Jets:

Stock Up: QB Josh Allen

After last week's game at the Houston Texans where Allen had had his worst game of the season in addition to possibly being concussed, he came back on Monday with his game face on and it showed in his performance. Allen completed 19 of 25 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns while also running the ball nine times for 18 yards and one touchdown, another all-around great effort for the potential NFL MVP.

Stock Down: K Tyler Bass

While the kicking conditions were clearly affecting both kickers, Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein missed two field-goals of his own, Bass missed a critical 47-yard field-goal that could have put the Bills head 23-17 in the third quarter and also had one of the worst PAT's in recent memory. Bass can get somewhat of a pass because of the weather, but Buffalo won this game by the narrowest of margins.

Stock Up: DE AJ Epenesa

After not starting this game due to his ineffectiveness over the past few weeks, Epenesa came out in this one like his hair was on fire as he was everywhere for the Bills. Not only did Epenesa sack Aaron Rodgers twice, he also accumulated four tackles and was Buffalo's biggest disruptor on the night in which Buffalo needed someone to step up and apply pressure on New York's offensive line.

Stock Down: Buffalo's Cornerbacks

It is hard to contain someone like Garrett Wilson, one of the up-and-coming wide receivers in the NFL, when he is catching passes from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, one of the best to ever do it. However, Buffalo's cornerback duo of Rasul Douglas and Christian Benford couldn't do much against Wilson (8 catches for 107 yards and one touchdown) or Allen Lazard (6 catches for 114 yards and one touchdown) throughout the contest.

Stock Up: RB Ray Davis

Davis was put in a tough spot as he had to step into a leading role for the Bills once starting running back James Cook was ruled out shortly before kickoff due to a toe injury. Despite that, Davis stepped up to the challenge and then some as he racked up 97 yards on 20 carries (4.9 yards per carry) and also showed off his receiving chops by catching three passes for 55 yards.

Kincaid had another solid performance as arguably the most effective weapon for the Bills in the passing game with Buffalo still trying to figure out which wide receiver is going to step up on a nightly basis. Kincaid piled up six catches for 55 yards as another showing of what he can do to defenses when he has a mismatch or when he feels like making a play for Josh Allen when the pass rush gets to him quicker than expected.
