We all knew this day would come.

Stephen Curry, the single-season and single-game 3-point record holder, has set a new mark on the biggest stage: the NBA Finals.

His nine 3-pointers in Game 2 broke Ray Allen’s previous record of eight, set on June 6 in Game 2 of the 2010 Finals.

Check out all the insane shots below:

These weren’t borderline threes, either – Curry was dropping them from way downtown.

Of course, Twitter reacted accordingly. Check out just a few of the many highlights:

Overall, Curry racked up 33 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists in his team’s 122-103 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. This was Curry’s 20th Finals game.

Given that he’s shooting at an unthinkable video game level, and that there are at least two games left to play, Curry might just have a shot at besting himself later this week.
