Steph Curry torches Pacers with season-high 11 3-pointers

Steph Curry couldn't miss in the first quarter Thursday night. And he didn't miss much the rest of the way, either.

The Golden State Warriors All-Star went 6-of-6 on 3-pointers in the opening 9 minutes against the Indiana Pacers. He finished with a season-high 11 3s on 16 attempts for 42 points in the Warriors' 131-109 win.

It didn't matter how many defenders Indiana sent at him. As a Warriors announcer noted on one of his shots, "He made it from South Bend!"

That's NBA-record 346th game with at least 5 3s. By halftime he was 8-of-9 from long range with 29 points as the Warriors led 70-58.

Curry once made 7 3s in a quarter.

NBA trade grades: Pacers trade Buddy Hield, get Doug McDermott

Curry made it 7-for-7 midway through the second quarter, but he missed with about 4 minutes left.
