This week the Pittsburgh Steelers get back to work after the bye and start the gauntlet of second-half games. First up are the surprising Washington Commanders who find themselves at 7-2 and on top of the NFC East. This will be a road showdown for the Steelers and a must-win game coming off of a break.

Here are our big concerns early in the week.

The downside of the bye week

The Steelers were riding high heading into the bye week with two wins with Russell Wilson as quarterback. All that momentum could be gone after the long break and Pittsburgh cannot afford to come in flat.

Jayden Daniels dual threat

The Steelers defense has struggled against running quarterbacks in the past and Daniels is an amazing athlete. Smart assignment football will be the key this week.

The Ravens are really good

At this point, the Ravens might be playing the best football in the AFC and are only a half game behind the Steelers. This really lowers the margin of error for Pittsburgh during the worst part of the season.

Can't overlook Washington

Speaking of the Ravens, they are on the schedule in Week 11 meaning the Steelers could be peeking ahead to them and not take the Commanders seriously.

Will the Steelers pull off a trade?

By the end of business on Tuesday we will know how confident the Steelers are in their wide receiver group. We've already speculated that the Steelers aren't planning to make any trade now that Russell Wilson is quarterback unless the can get a real bargain.
