If the rumors are true, the San Francisco 49ers are looking for a premier wide receiver back from the Pittsburgh Steelers if they trade wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. On the Steelers roster, this means George Pickens as he's the closest thing to an elite receiver Pittsburgh has.

On paper, this might seem foolish for the Steelers to even consider. Yes, Aiyuk is a better all-around receiver. In 2023, Aiyuk had 75 catches for 1,342 yards compared to Pickens' 63 catches for 1,140 yards.

We can debate the quality of quarterback play and supporting cast all we like but objectively, Aiyuk can do more right now at the position than Pickens can. Will this always be the case? That's tough to call given how both guys got to where they are right now.

If you were Steelers General Manager Omar Khan, would you trade picks and Pickens for Aiyuk? If this happens, will Aiyuk elevate the play of the other Steelers receivers in a way Pickens cannot? If you believe he can, this trade makes sense. If you don't, the cost is too high.

Cast your vote and let us know if you think the Steelers should include Pickens in the trade for Aiyuk.
