On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers released their first official depth chart of the season. Pittsburgh kicks off its preseason slate on Friday night against the Houston Texans. There aren't a lot of surprises but we will dig into the whole thing before Friday's game.
The Steelers committed their top two picks to draft picks to offensive linemen but neither guy has cracked the starting lineup just yet. We expect offensive tackle Troy Fautanu and center Zach Frazier to be in the starting lineup sooner than offensive tackle Broderick Jones was last season. We also think when rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson is healthy, he has a good shot to beat out Calvin Austin III as the team's starting slot receiver.
