Steelers free agency: Ex-Rams, Falcons WR Van Jefferson signs deal with Pittsburgh
The Pittsburgh Steelers signed a Jefferson today. It wasn’t the Jefferson fans would’ve liked to see in the black and gold (ahem, Justin) — instead, Van Jefferson, former second-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams.
According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, the Steelers signed Jefferson to a one-year deal.
This clearly puts the Steelers in the market for a top-round receiver in the NFL draft. Jefferson in no way can replicate the talent that Diontae Johnson brought to Pittsburgh.
