Texas vs Stanford prediction for 2024 Women's College World Series
Justin Martinez, The Oklahoman: "Texas is the top seed in the WCWS, but it should be on upset watch in this one. It'll face Stanford pitcher NiJaree Canady, who's USA Softball's Collegiate Player of the Year. The sophomore pitched all eight innings of Stanford's 4-3 road win over Texas on Feb. 24, and she racked up 11 strikeouts in the process. Canady is the nation's best pitcher, and she'll make life difficult for a Texas offense that ranks second in the country in runs per game (8.1)."
Prediction: Stanford 3, Texas 2
