It'll face Stanford pitcher NiJaree Canady, who's USA Softball's Collegiate Player of the Year. The sophomore pitched all eight innings of Stanford's 4-3 road win over Texas on Feb. 24, and she racked up 11 strikeouts in the process. Canady is the nation's best pitcher, and she'll make life difficult for a Texas offense that ranks second in the country in runs per game (8.1)."
