The Detroit Pistons acquired power forward Donatas Motiejunas from the Houston Rockets in a three-player trade, league sources told The Vertical.

Detroit has made two significant deadline deals to bolster its frontline, trading for Montiejunas and Orlando’s Tobias Harris.

The Rockets acquired a 2016 first-round pick – lottery protected from Nos. 1-8 – and Joel Anthony, and sent Marcus Thornton to Detroit.

Motiejunas, 25, missed the start of the season because of a back injury and has spent time with Houston’s NBA Development League affiliate in Rio Grande in the second half of the season.
