Social media is FURIOUS with Mack Brown, UNC's performance vs. JMU

It's been an embarrassing first half of football for the North Carolina Tar Heels today, as they trail James Madison 46-21 at halftime in a game they should be winning.

UNC has turned the ball over now FOUR times, most recently in the closing minutes of the first half, with JMU taking Jacolby Criswell's second interception into the end zone for a pick-6. The Dukes now lead 53-21 at halftime, with their offense also moving the ball at will against North Carolina's supposedly "improved" defense.

JMU has 418 yards and scored on six of its ten first-half drives. Dukes quarterback Alonzo Barnett has 288 passing yards, three passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns, while the JMU defense also returned a blocked punt for a touchdown.

The Tar Heels offense looked solid in the first quarter, with new starting quarterback Jacolby Criswell completing a couple deep bombs and a touchdown pass to tight end John Copenhaver. UNC star running back Omarion Hampton scored his fourth touchdown of the year on a 28-yard first quarter run, while tight end Bryson Nesbit caught Criswell's second touchdown pass early in the second.

Since that Criswell-Nesbit touchdown, it's been all JMU in Kenan Stadium. North Carolina fans are NOT happy with Mack Brown and the team overall – just check out fans ripping into today's performance on social media:
